Imogen is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with adults and children in both the public and private sectors. A member of the Australian Psychological Society she holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. She has full and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Board of Psychology and is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist.
In the last 20 years Imogen has worked in community health and in private settings in areas such as rehabilitation, human resources, and early childhood. For the last 13 years she has been working as a Psychologist in a multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting young children and their families in their lives at home, at kindergarten and at child-care. This has included the provision of assessment and therapeutic services to children as well as support for parents.
Imogen works in a private capacity with children and their families aged 0 – 9 years across a range of areas including challenging behaviours, struggles in areas such as food, sleep and toileting and difficulties with managing frustration, anger, worry and friendships. She also works with parents who may be struggling with different aspects of parenting. Imogen draws on a range of evidence based frameworks such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and attachment theory (Circle of Security), adapting her approach to respond to and meet the needs of clients and their families.
